On some streets at particular times, people who live in the area fill up the on-street car parks

  • An example of where this happens is Roy Street, in the evenings on weekdays and weekends. Residents return in the evening to park on the street near where they live which means the parking occupancy overnight is at almost 100%.

On some streets at particular times, people attending an event or activity in the area fill up the on-street parking. 

  • An example of where this happens is Adelaide Road near Wakefield Park. During most days and at most times, not many people use these on-street car parks. On weekend days, the available car parks on the street are usually full with vehicles parked by people attending sports games at Wakefield Park.

On some streets at particular times, people who work in the area and people who live in the area fill up the on-street car parks.

  • An example of where this happens is Rintoul Street, on weekdays. The on-street parking fills up during the day with vehicles parked by people who work in the area from about 8am to 6pm. People who live in the area return in the evening to park on the street near where they live and this has the same effect.
